Hotel Valencia Santana Row, Valencia Hotel Collection

I recommend Hotel Valencia to anyone who is visiting. Service is GREAT! Staff like Charles, Jordy, Alvaro, Grace and Nancy made my experience wonderful. I will come back.

We stayed for a week hosting an internal event and it was all wonderful. I would like to call out specifically Randall, who went beyond and more to support us, helping us out every day always with a smile. The experience without him wouldn't have been the same, it was very clear he actually care about the hosts and our priorities going well beyond his responsibilities, a true pleasure.

Been there couple of times for drinks with friends. Pretty chill place, friendly servers and people, nice drinks, even appetizers are good. Good place to unwind and meet good people. They rank pretty high on my old fashioned scale. Paid parking garage near by.

We know the area very well as we lived near by in the past and know when the hotel was open. It has been for more than 20 years and it is time for upgrades. The white floor in the bathroom had several marks and there was only hot water in the bathroom sink. The hotel is showing age as to walls and furniture. The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom tub and walls look old for a 4-star hotel. The towel rack is located under sink, which is inconvenient. Most 4 star hotels nowadays have a shower cabin or both a shower and a tub. A tiny fridge is packed with alcohol and it is not possible to put a water bottle there. The room was clean and the staff at the front desk were friendly. Santana Row is a shopping/dining place. It is vibrant and noisy with crowds of people walking around. Fortunately, our king size room faced the court yard and was spacious and quiet. It was fine for us for one night stay. All walking in the area is in Santana Row or Valley Fair shopping mall. If you come for shopping or celebrations it is the place to go. A lot of nice restaurants and shops, but to see more in San Jose area it is necessary to drive. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant had a good selection. The swimming pool and bar on the top are impressive. The hotel has 7 stories, it is more like a boutique hotel with valet parking. As a result, it is pricey.

I stayed in Hotel Valencia 2 times now: the first for my birthday and the second time for the night of my wedding. This hotel is like a mini getaway, a staycation that was much needed as I reside in Santa Clara County. The ambience, the decor/aesthetic, the view out the window, the care and service from the employees, the amenities and activities (many restaurants, bars, a spa, and shops) so easily accessible… Everything was wonderful, and I highly recommend staying here! If you’re visiting from a different city or just want a day’s worth of break from reality, this is the place to stay A huge shout out to Bonnie for being great with his service and care!

Hotel Valencia at Santana Row is a truly beautiful place — elegant design, spotless rooms, and the perfect location right in the heart of Santana Row. The atmosphere feels calm and upscale, and the staff are very friendly, professional, and welcoming, which makes the stay even better. Everything from the lobby to the rooftop terrace feels stylish and well maintained. The only thing I’d recommend is replacing the mattresses — they’re clean but could be more comfortable for such a high-end hotel. Aside from that, it’s an excellent stay overall. I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting San Jose who wants comfort, style, and great service in one place.

The manager Scott Dolan is doing a great job at this beautiful establishment. You can sense that his presence as manager of high-quality is emulated through his employees. The customer service was excellent. The food was wonderful. We had tapas from Oveja Negra, which was over the top superb. our server, Riccardo gave excellent customer service and made us feel welcome and was very attentive to all of our request. Chef Pedro came out to welcome us and we thanked him for the excellent food and we’re blessed and graced with his amazing basket cheesecake for dessert I have never in my life tasted a better Basque cheesecake and my family is from the Basque region in Spain. Overall, excellent excellent excellent!!!
